PROJECT DETAILS:

DREAMS is a concept for a charity event raising funding to empower educators of low income families. For this event I developed a brand inspired by the qualities of dreams, aspiration, and supporting others. The brand was then applied to a website and various marketing materials.

This included a brand system and identity for the host organizer DREAMS, Branding and advertising for the event itself, a fully functional website for the event, and merchandise.

Brand Identity

The brand identity for DREAMS was built around the emotional and symbolic qualities of dreaming—imagination, and uplift. I developed a soft yet intentional visual system using angelic features, black stroke, and promising color palette to suggest motion and growth. The color palette leaned into calming blues and yellows, creating a sense of trust and promise, while maintaining enough contrast to feel bold and contemporary.

The logo-mark itself draws from star forms and dream-like features, reinforcing the idea of education as a launch point for bigger futures. Every design choice—from patterns to type—was meant to reflect the delicate balance between aspiration and action.

Website

The website for DREAMS served as the central platform for sharing the event’s mission, encouraging donations, and showcasing the information about each event. I approached the web design with the sense of emotional resonance towards college students, ensuring that visitors could easily navigate while also feeling connected to DREAMS.

Promotional Material

To extend the DREAMS brand beyond the digital space, I designed a series of promotional materials that would create a memorable experience both before and during the event. Posters, flyers, social media graphics, and event tickets are among deliverables, where they all carried the color palette and feeling of each college campus where the event was planned to be held; creating a fluid system that could adapt each college’s branding easily.
